January 26, 2015, Cayuse Technologies wins the 2014 Pendleton Chamber of Commerce’s First Citizens Business of the Year Award. In the beginning the company had five employees, but it now boasts about 300 workers. In addition to growing in size, Cayuse has spent an estimated 1,800 hours in training and development. The company has helped 12 staff members receive their associate’s or bachelor’s degrees. Cayuse employees have formed a community outreach committee and workers donate their own money to help with community projects. They have contributed more than $42,000 and average more than 2,300 volunteer hours per year. Read More at the East Oregonian
